It is an honour to serve as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Frame Lake, where I have lived for over 20 years.
Frame Lake is a very diverse riding with many people who continue to make Yellowknife a great place to live.

I donated prizes and took part in Ecology North’s spring coffee house in April.
Members of the Standing Committee on Government Operations met with members of the Tuktoyaktuk Hamlet Council in one of the committee’s northern stops gathering input on the proposed law for legalization of cannabis.
I joined members of Alternatives North in a surface tour of the Giant Mine site and remediation project.
Yellowknife MLAs Cory Vanthuyne, Glen Abernethy, Caroline Cochrane and I joined with many Mounties in celebrating Canada Day at the annual parade.
Yellowknife North MLA Cory Vanthuyne and I joined other MLAs in tour of the new Stanton Territorial Hospital construction project. The hospital is slated to open to the public in May 2019.
The Inuvik Tuktoyaktuk Highway was closed for repairs when I visited in April with Mackenzie Delta MLA Frederick Blake. Spring thaw brought a long closure for upgrades, and reports on road condition over the summer have not been encouraging.
Ryan Fequet received the 2018 Outstanding Volunteer Award in the Individual Category. Since 2007, Ryan has served on the boards of NWT Soccer, Canada Soccer, the YK Adult Soccer League, Sport North, YK Slopitch, Folk on the Rocks and the Ravenscourt Condo Board. He is estimated to have contributed 6,800 hours of volunteer service, or two hours of volunteering a day for 10 years.
